Common questions
Why should I create an account?
An account is optional, but it helps you avoid re-entering contact details and gives you a record of past purchases. Regular customers may also receive smoother support because order history is easier to review.
What kind of customers are easiest to support?
We work best with buyers who read product descriptions, provide correct contact details, ask clear questions, and contact us directly if a problem appears. Fabric orders move faster when the product link, color, yardage, and destination are clear.
How can I trust that my order will be shipped?
Published products, order records, payment confirmation, tracking numbers, and shipment updates are used to document the order process. If you have concerns before ordering, contact us with the product links and destination country.
Why must my name, address, email, and phone number be accurate?
Shipping carriers use your contact details for tracking, customs, delivery calls, and exception notices. Incorrect information can delay delivery, block customs clearance, or make a package difficult to recover.
Can I cancel, return, or exchange an order?
We review returns, exchanges, or refunds when the wrong item is sent, the item is materially different from the description, a defect is confirmed, or a delivery issue is caused by our error. Cut fabric, custom orders, and buyer-side address or customs issues may not qualify.
Under what conditions can I receive a discount?
Discounts are considered for repeat customers, larger orders, and wholesale-style purchases. Send the product links, quantities, and destination so we can review availability and pricing.
How can I find wholesale prices?
Wholesale pricing depends on the fabric, yardage, stock status, and customer history. Contact us with the exact product links and required quantities for a manual quote.
Can you print or weave a custom pattern?
Custom production may be possible for some materials, but minimum quantities apply. As a starting point, fine cotton may require around 20 yards, while jacquard and leather-look materials may require around 100 yards. Pattern preparation or design work may add cost.
Can we talk by phone?
For new inquiries, written communication is preferred so product links, quantities, colors, addresses, and payment details stay clear. Phone or direct calls may be considered for established or repeat customers.
What is the most important detail when working with ExcaWorld?
Correct contact information is the most important detail. It protects tracking, carrier communication, customs clearance, payment review, and any follow-up support.
How do I find the dimensions of a fabric?
Each product page should show the relevant width, material notes, and yardage options. Width is fixed by the fabric roll; length depends on whether you choose 1/2 yard, 1 yard, or a larger quantity.
Will multiple yards ship as one continuous piece?
When stock allows, multiple yards are prepared as one continuous uncut piece. Roll condition and remaining stock can affect this, so contact us first for large panels or production orders.
Can I see a product video before buying?
If available, product videos or additional visuals can help confirm shine, texture, backing, and color. If you need a closer look at a specific fabric, send the product URL and tell us what detail you need to inspect.
Can I order samples first?
Sample availability depends on the fabric. Samples are recommended when color matching, texture, backing, or machine compatibility matters.
Can fabrics in the same category have different properties?
Yes. Fabrics in the same category can differ in thickness, backing, weight, finish, stretch, texture, and supplier source. Always read the individual product description before ordering.
Can vinyl or leather-look fabrics be ironed?
Some vinyl or leather-look fabrics can be gently pressed from the reverse side using low heat and a thin cotton cloth as protection. Test a small area first. Do not press directly on the front surface.
Can jacquard, canvas, or cotton fabrics be ironed?
Many woven fabrics can be ironed carefully, but heat tolerance depends on fiber content, backing, and finish. Use low to moderate heat first and test before pressing a visible area.
Which payment methods are accepted?
Checkout payment options may include PayPal, card payment, or invoice-based payment depending on current availability. We do not see your full card details when payment is processed by a secure payment provider.
Can I request an alternative payment method?
Yes. If the default checkout option is not suitable, contact us before ordering. We can review invoice payment or another practical arrangement when possible.
Why not sell only through marketplaces?
Direct checkout helps keep pricing, product details, and communication centralized. Secure payment options and order records are used to protect both sides of the transaction.
How long does order processing take?
Most fabric orders are prepared within about 3 business days after payment confirmation. Custom, bulk, or special-check orders may need more time.
What is the estimated delivery time after shipment?
Estimated express delivery after shipment is commonly 2-4 business days to the USA, 2-5 business days to Canada, 3-5 business days to Australia or New Zealand, 1-3 business days to many EU destinations, and 4-9 business days to many other countries.
Which shipping carriers are used?
Express shipments may use carriers such as UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS, DPD, TNT, or another available service. The carrier is selected based on destination, parcel type, and service availability.
What are the shipping costs and free shipping thresholds?
As a practical guide, USA, Canada, and many EU orders may use a standard express shipping fee around 25 USD, with free express shipping shown when the cart exceeds about 200 USD. Australia and New Zealand may be around 49 USD with free shipping above about 275 USD. Other destinations may be around 60 USD with free shipping above about 350 USD. Final checkout rules may vary by destination.
Do you ship to P.O. boxes?
No. Please use a physical delivery address. Express carriers and customs processes generally require a complete street address and valid contact details.
Who pays customs duties and import taxes?
Customers are responsible for customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, and destination-country charges. Customs inspection or local import delays are outside the seller's direct control.
Can customs delays be a return or refund reason?
Estimated delivery dates are not guarantees. Delays caused by customs inspection, local carrier operations, incorrect contact details, or destination-country rules are not automatically return or refund reasons.
How is my fabric packaged?
Fabric is folded or rolled according to material type, order size, and carrier requirements. Packaging is chosen to protect the fabric during transit while keeping the parcel practical for international shipping.
What should I do if tracking shows delivered but I cannot find the package?
Check the delivery location, household members, building reception, neighbors, and carrier delivery photo if available. Contact the carrier quickly, then contact us with the order number and tracking details.
Who should I contact if the package is late?
If the package is past the estimated arrival window, contact us with your order number, tracking number, destination country, and the current tracking status. We can help review the shipment record.
